Hello, I was wondering where were you when you heard about the Kings passing away :?:
I was personally 10 years old at the time and I remember my mum rushing into my bedroom in the morning with the news Alex had died :o
Alex was my brother-in-law and from hearing this news I was very upset

Its wasnt until later my mother explained it was infact Elvis Presley that died and not my Brother-in-law, I was tired and had just woke up and got confused

Anyway I never forgot to this day

cheers all
TheKing

I was at my cousin's house (we were both 15) and the two of us were enjoying a hot summer day just horsing around at his place. Late in the afternoon his mom came home and asked us "guess who just died today?" And we were like "I don't know, who died?" and she said "Elvis Presley", and we were like, WHAT??? My brother came by shortly after in a green '69 Pontiac to pick me up, and of course, the first thing I said to him was "did you know Elves Presley died today?" All he said said was "yeah, I know". The radio in the car was playing 'Love Me'. Neither of us were real Elvis fans just yet, but it was a very quiet ride home. I remember it all very clearly, and I get chills thinking about it.
